King Arthur's West Country
Ms Deirdre Haugh (July 2010)Had a wonderful four days travelling on the tour "In Search of King Arthur". The tour was
led by an educated and personable guide who took us around the best parts of the counties
of Dorset,Devon,Cornwall and Somerset; a group of five in a comfortable Mercedes seven
seater vehicle. We saw a lot more than just the Arthur-related sites at Winchester, Tintagel
and Glastonbury. Also the amazing fishing village of Port Isaac, seaside towns such as Lyme
Regis and Exmouth, ancient bridges and churches, burial sites all explained in detail by our
guide. Food and accommodation was of a very good standard. Would highly recommend.

Penny Tebbs – UKThank you so much for giving Peter Harrison and me the opportunity to do your Devon and
Cornwall three night tour. A tour director can make or break the trip but I'm delighted to say
John Adams proved to be a most patient, witty and helpful character. The accommodation,
food and places chosen to visit were excellent. Thank you very much. I am particularly
interested in visiting France with you next year as we really enjoy this form of travel.

Susie Brown"I will never take a large group tour again. I recently took your King Arthur tour and it was
great. Because we were a small group, we went places and saw things we would have
missed with a large group. Our guide, Mike Wilson, was intelligent, informative and really a
nice person. I had a wonderful time and hope to tour with your company again next year.

Arlys J Krech"My daughter and I returned from a two-week trip to England. I just had to write to let you
know (and all the people associated with your office) that we had the most wonderful
experiences of our lives thanks to the two trips we took with Back-Roads."
