HOW TO PAY

Payment Instructions
All our tours are priced in Pounds Sterling. You can see how much this is in your local currency by clicking onto the currency exchange http://www.xe.com/ucc/
What Currency Do I Pay In?
Once you've decided to join us, and booked your tour, you can choose to pay in sterling pounds or in your local currency. If you decided to pay in your local currency then your deposit payment will be converted into sterling at the date when it's received.

Final balance will be charged with an exchange rate at the time of making the final payment, which is 60 days prior to arrival unless booking is made within the 60 day time period.

You can choose to pay at any time prior to the 60 days to take advantage of a favourable exchange rate.

If the invoice is not paid within the requested time, we reserve the right to change the exchange rate and charge interest on late payments (1% per month).
Where Do I Send My Payment?

You can choose to pay in sterling pounds or in your local currency. Local currency simply can be sent to the bank account that we have locally. Payment can be made by cheque, payable to Back-Roads Touring Co. Ltd, or by bank transfer directly into our bank account.

We hold bank accounts with the Cattle Bank in Nebraska, USA, and with branches of the HSBC in Canada, Australia, Singapore and the UK. In the case of New Zealand, South Africa and other countries, payment must be made by bank draft, or bank transfer. Bank details will be noted on the invoice.

Can I Pay By Credit Card?
Yes, if you wish but there is a 3.5% supplement on the tour price to cover credit card costs. We can accept Visa or MasterCard. Also, the exchange rate will be determined by the credit card company at the time of processing so it might not be as shown on our web site currency converter. On balance, you will probably be better off simply sending a cheque to our local account.
