TO BOOK
|
Making a booking
on a Back-Roads Touring Co. Ltd tour is extremely easy.
If you're not a travel agent, please contact us at our London
office to see if we have an accredited Back-Roads Touring Co.
Ltd agent in your area. If you're a travel agent booking
on behalf of a client, please follow the instructions below.

- Firstly, send us an
e-mail info@backroadstouring.co.uk
or fax 00 44 20 8566 5457 to check if the tour date
you want is available. It's always helpful to give
a second choice of date or tour at this stage in case your
first choice is full.
|
- We'll respond and, if there
is availability, give you a 7-day option. You then confirm
that you want the tour by completing the booking
form included here. We then send you a pro-forma
invoice and banking details.
|
- The booking is confirmed once
we've received an initial payment. A non-refundable
deposit is required and the balance of payment must be made
at least 60 days prior to the tour departure. The deposit
required is £100 per person per tour for tours 3-4 days
and £250 per person for tours longer than 4 days. See

- Final invoice will be sent
60 days prior to departure to request final payment. If booking
is made less 60 days prior departure then we will send you
the final invoice only and the pro-forma/deposit invoice will
not be issued.

- Acknowledgement of payment
is sent by e-mail.
|
|
We are unable to book the airline
portion of the tour (that must be booked locally) and we strongly
recommend that an
insurance policy is purchased for cover in the event of the traveller
having to cancel for any reason once payment has been made for
the tour. |

We are happy to
accept MasterCard/Visa but do not accept other cards. Please
note, however, that there is a 3.5% surcharge to your tour price
charged if you use the credit card facility. You should also
note that the exchange rate will be determined by your credit
card company on the day of transaction and it may not exactly
accord with the rate shown on the currency converter on our
web site.

Alterations
& Cancellation
|
If
you request any alterations to your travel arrangements once
we have confirmed a reservation, Back-Roads Touring Co. Ltd
UK will not charge an amendment fee in securing alternative
arrangements on your behalf. However, it is no guarantee
that your requested changes will be available and that any charges
levied to Back-Roads Touring Co. Ltd UK from our agents/suppliers
for the previously booked services will be passed on to you.
Should you wish to cancel your tour, you must notify your Back-Roads
Touring Co. Ltd representative in writing. Such notice
can only be deemed to have been given on acknowledgement and
receipt of this letter. If notification of your cancellation
is received more than 60 days prior to the date of your first
service, then you will lose only your deposit. For cancellation
notification within 60 days of initial service, charges are
as follows:
