London-based, small
group tour operator, Back-Roads Touring Co. Ltd, has launched
a new series of scheduled departure tours for 2006 designed
to allow participants greater flexibility in choosing both the
length of holiday they want, and where they can join their tour.

The modular programme
offers a series of three and four-day tours that can be combined
into holidays of three, four, seven, eleven or fourteen days
in length. The tour itineraries explore in depth the areas around
the departure cities of London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.
North American travellers can fly direct into any of these cities
from many US and Canadian airports.

Continental tours
depart from Lille, France, which tour participants join taking
the Eurostar from London.

|
Back-Roads Touring
Co. Ltd offer a small group experience, with a maximum of twelve
persons on each tour, travelling by comfortable mini-coach and
staying in a range of interesting, 3-star standard accommodations
such as inns, farmhouses and family run country hotels. The
tours are led by university-educated driver/guides. Tours are
priced from US$550.

| Unlike many operators, the company
doesn't cancel a tour because it has poorly sold. "We've
sold people a dream", says Managing Director, Bruce Cherry,
"and we should deliver that dream even if we can't make a
profit on doing so". |
