BACK-ROADS TOURING Co. Ltd ADD 'KIPLING'S INDIA' TO RANGE OF TOURS FOR 2007

A 14-day tour themed around Rudyard Kipling's India is being offered in November 2007 by UK-based, small group tour specialist, Back-Roads Touring Co. Ltd. The tour marks a departure for the company which has generally been known as a European and British Isles specialist.

The tour commences in Mumbai and finishes in New Delhi having covered cities, festivals and events associated with the life of Rudyard Kipling, author of such classics as 'The Jungle Book,' 'Kim', and 'Plain Tales from the Raj'.

The new itinerary has been planned with co-operation from Delhi-based operator, Indebo, and will be run jointly by Back-Roads Touring Co. and Indebo. 'Although this will be the first time we've ventured out of Europe as a company,' said Managing Director Bruce Cherry,' many of our staff have travelled or lived in India and we decided to use our pooled knowledge to offer this tour. We think that it should prove popular as we've managed to offer a tour that is not only unique but suburb value.

The number of tour participants will be limited to 11 as is the case with all Back-Roads Touring Co. programmes, and will be accompanied by one of their British-based guides. The tour utilises a range of transport including plane, train, four-wheel drive and elephants! Accommodation is in a range of specially selected quality hotels and up-scale former private residences.

There will only be one departure offered in 2007 and the seventeen-dayland tour is priced at US$3395 per person in a twin share when booked through the Internet.
